THREE MAIN CAUSES

1. Non-disintegration of the Union

We have started a Revolution because you, the Tatmadaw, are destroying the integrity of the Union. With you, the Union will not survive. When we defeat you, a new Federal Union of Burma can be formed.

2. Non-disintegration of national solidarity

We have started a Revolution because under you, the Tatmadaw, there is no nationality solidarity. You have turned one group against another and sought absolute power for yourselves. When we defeat you, we will have real nationality solidarity, where all the peoples of Burma are treated equally and have the same democratic rights.

3. Perpetuity of sovereignty

We have started a Revolution because you, the Tatmadaw, use the idea of sovereignty as an excuse to attack and kill. You are so ignorant you do not understand that national sovereignty comes from the people. It is our willingness to be part of the country that gives it national sovereignty. When we defeat you, we will redefine national solidarity so that it does begin with the people, and no one can be abused.
