Please forward.

We have a new post on our conflict blog, a report which describes clashes between the Karen National Liberation Army and the Burma Army from June 1 through June 18.

The report is is in English and Karen (using the NEWKAREN font.) It describes thirty-eight clashes, which resulted in twenty known Burma Army KIA casualties. The BA casualties from many of the clashes, though, were unknown. The KNLA also found a group of bodies of six BA soldiers who apparently tried to defect, but were then caught and executed.
